"A Savior is Born" Is Viewed By Millions

The Church’s new Christmas video, "A Savior is Born" has been viewed and shared millions of times this season. As of 11 December the video had more than 35 million views worldwide, and more than two and a half million people had visited Christmas.Momon.org.

In support of the initiative, “A Savior is Born,” fifteen artists, performers, and artistic groups have contributed sharable videos in styles ranging from classical to Afropop.  The performers are Jenny Oaks Baker, Ellie + Jared, the Gardiner SistersLexi Walker and the Lyceum Philharmonic, Alex Boye and the LDS Genesis Group Gospel Choir, Tiffany Alvord with Rob Landes and Sara Arkell - The Piano Gal, Lindsey Stirling, Stuart Edge, Peter Hollens, David Archuleta and Nathan Pacheco, Maddie Wilson, Studio C, Shay Carl, Devin Graham, and Rob Landes.

Shay Carl, who originally released his video on his YouTube channel, said, “We had a blast making it. The [A Savior Is Born] video means a lot to all of us. That’s why we are here—because of Jesus Christ. It is truly the greatest gift any one of us could receive.”
