Like many around the world, members of the Adelaide Australia Modbury Stake (diocese) have found unique ways to increase unity and uplift each other during the current pandemic. From online lessons to posting uplifting messages and videos on ward (congregation) and branch (small congregation) Facebook group pages, members have successfully stayed connected even while social distancing.
A recent virtual Talent Show by children from the Primary (the Church organisation for children ages 18 months to 11 years old) in the Gulfview Heights Ward is an example of this.
Parents and children posted videos on the ward’s Facebook page and shared their unique talents with each other.

It was delightful to see the children share their talents and their testimonies. There were many smiles as ward members watched these children of Heavenly Father radiate happiness, strength and growth. They were true examples of how even the smallest member can embrace and walk in the light of Christ.
Local Church leader, Bishop Joshua Butler, was pleased to see the children showcase their talents. He said, “Our ward Primary talent show is one of many, many examples of members of our ward, as individuals and families, seeking to hear the voice of the Lord through the Spirit and ministering to others. Many members really enjoyed seeing the diverse talents our Primary children shared. They helped to foster a spirit of increased unity in our ward while we have been apart. Although our ministering efforts have looked a little different these last few months, we each have talents, gifts and abilities that can be used to be a light and bring light unto others. Our Primary children have led by example in teaching us this principle.”
