New Temple President for Brisbane Temple

Robert and Jennifer Cowan recently began their service in the Brisbane Australia Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Robert Cowan is serving as the president of the temple, and Jennifer Cowan is serving the temple matron. 

The couple are from the Church’s Beenleigh Ward (congregation) in Queensland’s south east.

The previous temple president and matron were Grant and Donna Pitman from Brisbane.

The Cowans have served in a number of lay leadership positions in the Church throughout their lives.  

By profession, President Cowan is an importer and distributor of engineer’s tools. He was born in South Australia, to Douglas Cowan and Edith Janet Attrill Cowan.

Sister Cowan was born in Townsville, Queensland to John Douglas and Lois Gay Tucker Jeffrey.
