Newsweek Spotlights the Church and its Members

"They've conquered Broadway, talk radio, the U.S. Senate - and they may win the White House. Why Mitt Romney and 6 million Mormons have the secret to success." Thus begins the Newsweek cover story entitled 'Mormons Rock!'

The news magazine seeks to identify where The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and its members fit in today's social and faith landscapes. Read the articles online here

Journalists occasionally try to describe The Church and its members. While some of these attempts hit the mark or come close, the best way to understand the beliefs and experiences of Latter-day Saints is to go direct to the source--to members of the Church themselves.

To read the Church's official positions on theological questions such as:

"Is there a God?"
"Does He know me?" and
"What is the purpose of life?" go to www.lds.org

Another official Latter-day Saint website, www.mormon.org, features real Mormons talking about life's biggest questions and how they found answers to them.

The Church's official website for New Zealand and the Pacific Islands is www.ldschurch.org.nz.
