President Monson Named One of America's Most Admired Men

Thomas S. Monson, president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, was named this week as one of "The Ten Most Admired Men in America."

Media organizations around the world, including Melbourne's Herald Sun newspaper and Western Australia's Perth Now , reported this week on the results of a new USA Today/Gallup poll.

President Thomas S. Monson has served as the 16th president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints since 3 February 2008. He had served as a counsellor in the First Presidency of the Church since 10 November 1985.
