World's Largest Family History Conference Available Worldwide

RootsTech, held annually in Salt Lake City, Utah, has become the largest family history and genealogy conference in the world. Several sessions at RootsTech 2017, including the general keynote sessions will be streamed live on the home page of RootsTech.org. After the conference recordings of these sessions will be posted on the website for a limited time.

DNA testing, the internet, and data mining are just three of the technologies that have revolutionized family history and brought the world together.

Mark Kelly, Area Manager Family Search Australia is one of many who has used DNA testing to make family connections. He explains saying, "DNA testing provided me with an exciting look into my ethnicity. Though I had anticipated results based on my parents and grandparents origins, DNA testing enabled me to go far beyond with some surprising results. This was both intriguing and extremely helpful as it guided me to where I could focus my genealogical research. As an added bonus I was able to connect with others with similar DNA enabling me to identify third and fourth cousins that I was not aware of and together work on completing our family trees."

A list of session to be streamed live (Mountain Standard Time, GMT-7) can be found here.
