    Latter-day Saints Provide Unique Service Project to Eastern Health Hospital

      Members and friends of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Maroondah, VIC recently gifted their local Eastern Health Hospital with an outdoor garden and two murals for the the women’s mental health care unit. This service project was the result of a unique collaboration between University of the Third Age arts group and their instructor Josie Parkinson, mural artist Innika Gardam, volunteer leader Don Thacker, the local Bunnings outlet, and the hospital. Josie and Church member and artist, Hans van Voerst had previously donated artworks to Peter James Hospital, another Eastern Health Facility.
