- There are more than 190 meetinghouses in Australia that are used to accommodate nearly 300 congregations. In these meetinghouses we conduct our regular Sunday worship services and weekday social activities, all of which are open to the public.
- In 1984, the first temple in Australia was dedicated in Sydney. From 2001 to 2002 three more temples were opened in Adelaide, Melbourne and Perth. An additional temple was built in Brisbane in 2003. Unlike meetinghouses, temples focus on uniting families eternally. The family is fundamental to the Church's doctrine and practice.
