His Royal Highness Prince Ata of Tonga Shares His Faith During Sydney Devotional

                              

His Royal Highness Prince Ata spoke at a devotional meeting of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on 1 October in Sydney, Australia.

He shared some of his personal experiences which have strengthened his faith in Jesus Christ.

Among the congregation of around 500 were Sydney Latter-day Saints and other guests.

Guests included members of a local Catholic Tongan choir.

Prince Ata was baptised a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 2015. He visited the Church’s headquarters in Salt Lake City, United States in 2016.

In his remarks in Sydney, Prince Ata talked about Latter-day Saint temples and how he enjoys worshipping in the faith’s Nuku’alofa Tonga Temple.

Leo Gomez, president of the Latter-day Saints’ Australia Liverpool Stake (a stake is similar to a diocese) welcomed Prince Ata and other members and guests to the devotional.

He paid tribute to the people of Tonga for their faith and goodness.
