Youth from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Brisbane's northern suburbs recently presented donated boxes of non-perishable items for the needy to the Salvation Army.
Jean Fox attended on behalf of the Salvation Army to receive the goods. Stake President Louis Ziesel spoke to the youth about the Church’s Humanitarian Services, which helps those in need throughout the world.
The youth render local service annually, usually at the beginning of the Christmas season. This year (2015) the collection was for those in need in the greater Caboolture area where approximately 140 youth turned out to provide assistance.
The stake is central to the greater Caboolture area from the Glasshouse Mountains in the north to Kilcoy in the west, Bribie Island in the east and Aspley in the south.
