Volunteers Freshen Up Fences with New Paint in Belmont

The fences in Mustica Walk are looking much brighter after receiving a fresh coat of paint by Latter-day Saint volunteers in Belmont, Western Australia.

Approximately 110 volunteers from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints slipped on yellow Helping Hands vests to paint a large area of fencing during Belmont’s Community Action Day. Volunteers from as far as Narrogin came to participate in the day’s service.

Hamad Aboelatta is the Community Safety and Crime Prevention Project Officer for Belmont. When asked how he felt about this service he replied, "It's great! The City of Belmont is so appreciative of the help of Church members on our community action days."

Paint and other materials were donated by local businesses in order to make this service opportunity possible.
